The Journey

On our journey, we must remember not to attach ourselves to one idea too strongly; if we cling too tightly we will remain on that step of the staircase. We must remember to continue following the threads of truth past where others have stopped, secure in their knowledge, we must continue questioning.

We must remember that although the truth is hidden in plain sight our eyes are still adjusting from the shadows in the valley. We must remember that fear is the illusion that clouds our vision. It has been said that we should fear no evil on our expedition through the fun house and that is truth.

On our journey, we must consider all possibilities and those outside of reason deserve the most consideration. The walls we perceive in our waking lives or the walls we see around others cannot hamper our search. As the crabs in the bucket will always be pulling at our feet, we must kick free of the limiting confines of that enclosure.

We must remember that the future is as close as our next thought, if that thought is fear-based, then so will be our future. We must remember to stay positive, the powers that be want us to feel fear to strengthen their future, but our positive energy is ensuring our own future glory.

We must remember to take time to listen to our own quiet voice and take no opinion except those that harmonize clearly with our own sense of perfection. We must remember that although the media projects worlds of terror and fear, Jesus said that heaven is spread out upon the earth and men do not see it, choose to see it.

On our journey, we must remember to breathe and trust that the Universe (God) wants to see us succeed. The Universe (God) understands the challenges we have undertaken in entering this mirrored world of delusion and lies. We must remember our spirits understood the trials, designed the struggles and left us signs along the way to remember God. As we awaken to this new reality we must be gentle with ourselves, we are a tender bloom in a magnificent world we can not yet conceive and the old world is designed to pull us from the healing light that assists our growth.

On our journey, we must take time to create, to connect with the flow of the divine that runs through us. We must remember to seek beauty and connect with nature, even if it’s simply watching the birds from our window. We must remember that the power to heal ourselves comes from the inside, not outside of us. We must remember the duality of life on earth and hear the duality in the words of those seeking to lead us. And above all else, we must keep our inner eye focused on the completion of our creation.

Headcleaning....Thoughts and Questions
Many things fascinate me; often inside my brain competing for attention are dueling dates, coincidences and questions. The concept and existence of time is one thing I spend a lot of time pondering. Whether it is a flow from past to present to future as our calendars and history suggests or if it is actually a circle, as our Universe and seasons represent. I recognize that energy does not end or die, it only changes form and I am curious about that flow through, what we call, Time.

I also spend a lot of thought considering religion, having never been one that joins groups; the church is quite the enigma to me. I am also curious about the role of religion in our history and what it has truly achieved. Are we more in tune with God now, than we were 500 years ago or a thousand or two thousand years ago? Were the Native Americans more in tune with God than the Christians? Were the pagans and witches? And what is the real reason the Jews have been so persecuted? And if there were 27 gospels why are only four represented in the New Testament? And if the New Testament washed away the old, as Jesus introduced us to a loving God, why do people still go back to the Old Testament when wanting to prove sin? And if homosexuality is such a sin, why isn’t eating shellfish? They are both listed in Leviticus (the old testament) as a sin, why aren’t they equally attacked?

I am also intrigued by words and the use of words in our society. Wordplay and rhetoric are alive and well these days and many don’t recognize how we are manipulated by the words we hear, broadcast over the air right into our living rooms everyday. I am amazed by how some politicians use words so convincingly to say nothing and we walk away feeling as though a problem has actually been resolved or a question truly answered. And I am enthralled by words used in the Bible and how you can only define the words in the Bible by the Bible and how it is the only book I know of that you shouldn’t just open and read front to back, but start near the end and skip around.

Although I ask questions about the Bible and religion that probably offend many, I reserve my respect for Jesus and see how so many threads in our world go back to him, his words and the change he brought. And I know that Jesus is somehow an important aspect to the puzzle I am unraveling. I also know that Jesus was not a follower, so I find comfort in the knowledge that I am embracing his idea to Seek.

I ponder history, the rise and fall of kingdoms and what that really means in our world today. I wonder how much of the old knowledge we have discarded that was actually truth and how ignorant we have become because of our arrogance. I think that our leaders have deliberately misled us on many issues throughout the history of mankind, knowledge is power and those who have the most knowledge also have the most power and people rarely gain power with the idea to relinquish it.

I wonder why people feel so threatened by new ideas and why we do the same things again and again, seemingly not understanding that the results will not change if the actions don’t. I also wonder why people feel threatened by the simple asking of questions, when did questioning become wrong in our society and when did attack dog journalism become the norm? When did debate replace discussion?

My dad, a genealogist and WWII vet, had some interesting takes on history that I have not found reflected in what is common knowledge today. In an unpublished manuscript, he stated, “Knowledge of ancient laws and customs brought forward is a must as we delve into each generation of the past. To understand properly an ancient ancestor, we must understand three generations of political activity which preceded him.” I understood this statement to mean, it takes basically three generations to change the thinking of a nation, to erase the old knowledge subtly and replace it with the new dogma. Three generations seems an awful short time to rearrange the thinking of a nation, but it does make sense, it’s probably takes even less time now, as we are so distracted by electronics and numbed by anti-depressants and other pharmaceuticals.

I know I have been a bit obsessed by time and the function of calendars of late, but when I discovered my dad’s manuscript, I also discovered he had the same interest, which would make sense, as dates are important to one studying family histories. And the biggest discrepancy I can find in his dating and what I am finding on the internet, is that he appears to claim the difference between the Julian calendar and the Gregorian calendar is a year, whereas, I have only been able to find the difference to be 11 days.

And why have calendars and the keeping of time become so important to me? I don’t have the answer, I just follow what my brain spits out, I know that it is indeed important, but perhaps only to me. And the idea that September 11, 1752 did not exist probably doesn’t mean much if time is linear, as we are told, but what if time is circular? That absence could, theoretically, affect many things.

It is said that the Schumann’s Resonance (the heart-beat and frequency of the earth) has gone from 7.8 hertz to approximately 12 hertz and the magnetic field is at it’s lowest point in over 2000 years, these things have to affect the quality of our life on this planet. The earth is undergoing change and as residents of this planet, we are undergoing change, as well. We know we are affected by gravity, a working of the earth, and yet we wonder if we are influenced by the other workings of the earth. Of course we are, I don’t understand the refusal to see the pattern. And time, being a man-made concept or a condition of earth, is literally motion of mass and has to also be affected by the changes in the magnetic field and frequency.

I am not a scientist, I chose pregnancy and marriage at 17, versus college and parties, but had I gone into higher learning I think my choices would have landed me in philosophy and science. I am fascinated both by my knowledge of a higher power and the workings and expression of that power on this earth.

Many are becoming exhausted living in a world fueled by terror and fear, so remember to relax, turn off the electronics and breathe. As the world continues changing we will see more of that energy reflected in our media and politics, scandals will continue to be exposed and wars will become more contested, but remember what Shakespeare had to say, “All the world’s a stage, and the men and women merely players.”

And I will leave you with Jesus’ words from the Gospel of Thomas, “The Kingdom of Heaven is spread upon the earth and men do not see it.”

Be Shiny!
Small minds discuss people.
Average minds discuss events.
Great minds discuss ideas.
-Eleanor Roosevelt
I ran across that quote years ago, at the time I did not know who said those words, but I felt the truth weighing heavily in them. As I sat there stunned, the resonance of those words vibrating strongly inside of me, I knew that what I aspire to become in this life is a thinker. I love to ponder ideas and the path on to which others reached their conclusions. I don't just want to know "what" they think so that I can judge it as right or wrong, I want to know "why" they think as they do, what led them to believing this image versus that image to be the truth. I guess that's where my frustration with the cable news shows resides, notice that Mrs. Roosevelt didn't say debate, she said discuss. Discuss is calm, rational and open minded, debate is to challenge the other's ideas. I believe that when exploring an idea, we should be in the idea, suspend our judgments of what we know to be truth and step into another’s world for a moment.

I am enjoying writing for the American Chronicle more than I can express, although the knowledge that thousands of people have read my words is a little intimidating. I've received much e-mail, mostly thanking me for helping to open people's minds, a huge compliment for me. The most read article thus far has been "Looking for UFOs in 2007", followed by "For A Good Scare...Conspiracy Theories Abound" and in third is "The Internet is Alive with Chemtrails". I am grateful to know that I am not alone in my fascination of these ideas.

I've received the most e-mail concerning the Chemtrail article, some thanking me, some sending links to other information on the subject, some telling me it is HAARP and weather modification and one saying that I had not studied the subject deep enough and I could not straddle the fence forever. I have come to no conclusions about the Chemtrail phenomenon and for some reason my mind leans more towards philosophy, when I encounter the subject, than it does science and conspiracy.

I have often said that you cannot un-see what you have seen and many do not see the lines in the sky, are not aware of the speculation bubbling in small pockets around the world and for them they do not exist. For those who have seen them, now they witness them regularly. So my mind wonders, have they always been there and we've not seen them? What is the difference between those who do see them and those who do not? Is the simple knowledge that they exist enough to make them viewable? I personally was not aware of chemtrails until I read about them on the Internet and as a life long sky watcher, a sun, bird and nature lover, I find that very odd. I am an observant person, but I didn't notice planes leaving ropey trails across the sky? How strange is that?

So with all great mysteries, the clues are hidden in sight and it is the perception that determines our truths. So perhaps for me to view chemtrails as a spiritual or philosophical issue, instead of the fearful expression of death raining from the clouds, is just my view that the world is a mystical and miraculous place and that we are merely infants in the Universe. With fear reigning supreme in our society these days, I refuse to accept any ideas that are based and built on terror.

We must remember that feeling hope, loving and laughing and focusing on the positive creates real and powerful energy. We must remember that we are creating the future with our thoughts and with our fears. If you knew what you thought today would become your tomorrow, wouldn't you be careful? There is nothing in creation that was not a thought first, everything that surrounds us, from the computer monitor to books to TV to sports to medicine to religion to music to cars and space shuttles to ipods and cell phones, each of these things began as a small thought in someone’s mind.

The Internet is Alive with Chemtrails

Of all the conspiracy ideas circulating the Internet the one that intrigues me the most and turns my eyes to the heavens, is the mystery of chemtrails. Simply the number of websites is enough to lure interest and investigation, but as usual with all great mysteries once inside the possibilities seem almost innumerable. Chemtrails are said to be the stripes, crosshatch designs and X’s we are seeing in the skies above us these days. This writing over our heads soon spreads out to become soft, feathery clouds that dim the sky. Proponents of this idea claim that they are just contrails, condensation trails left when heat meets cold and the reason we are seeing so many of them is because there is far more air traffic now than 20 years ago.

When I first heard of this theory, I chuckled and filed it next to alien abduction as another fun thing to ponder when bored and went about my day, but later while cutting grass I glanced into sky and saw a long white trail being left in the wake of a plane and I was forced to reevaluate the previous information. Surfing the conspiracy sites I found a lot of photographs, a myriad of theories of what is in the emissions and a lot of fear of our ultimate demise raining down on us from the artificial clouds looming over our heads.

Labeled as a conspiracy theory, chemtrails receive little legitimate discussion, only increasing the speculation and fear, but in a bill introduced by Dennis Kucinich in October of 2001 (http://www.fas.org/sgp/congress/2001/hr2977.html) it clearly states the term chemtrails. The bill, H.R. 2977, is also known as the Space Preservation Act and in it is a list of things we should not do in the skies over our heads and distributing chemtrails is listed as one of those things. The bill was later rewritten, as bills often are, but when rewritten all mentions of chemtrails were omitted.

Some wonder if this is tied to global warming and a secret attempt by those in the highest ranks of world government to protect us by dimming the sun and lowering the earth’s temperature. Science is exploring what previously would have been considered outlandish ideas, including a monster sunshade for our planet, (http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/GlobalWarming/story?id=2655729&page=1) and even Nobel Prize laureate Paul Crutzen has stepped forward with his ideas of injecting sulfur in the atmosphere to lessen the greenhouse effect
(http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/greenhouse-effect-can-be-fixed-by-sulfur-says-scientist/2006/12/17/1166162368959.html ).

Other theories across the Net range from weather manipulation as a tool in warfare to a grand plot by the New World Order to reduce the population of the earth by seeding the clouds with disease and still others compare it to the crop circle phenomenon. There are fabulous videos of these designs being laid across the skies on both You Tube and Google Video and more opinions of what is occurring than you can swallow in a day.

For those who love a good mystery and love to ponder the unknown and unexplained this conspiracy theory is like seeking the Holy Grail, the twist and turns will leave you breathless.

Happy Surfing

Shouldn't Our President Want to be Popular?

I watched 60 Minutes last night, as I’m sure many did, in rapt fascination. President Bush in his role as The Decider stands firm in his beliefs that this is a just war and his position will make America stronger. The latest AP poll shows that approval of Bush’s handling of the war is at 29% and yet the biggest mistakes our President sees has been in Abu Ghraib, bad language and troop levels.

According to an article on ABCNews.com entitled Corruption Rivals Violence as Threat in Iraq, corruption in Iraq is pandemic, losing up to $4 billion a year. Sen. Susan Collins of Maine is quoted as saying, “It is a story of mistakes made - of plans that (were) poorly conceived or overwhelmed by ongoing violence and of waste, greed and corruption that drained dollars that should have been used to build schools and health clinics.” The article goes on to say that U.S. investigators have identified more that $300 million of our tax dollars being spent on suspect projects.

Although it’s nearly impossible to get an accurate count of how many Iraqi’s have died during this war, the numbers quoted range anywhere from 50,000 to 655,000. Whichever number we choose to believe, lets face it, that is a lot of people and a lot of devastated families. President Bush has claimed responsibility for his decisions and has said if they are wrong he takes the blame, but I can’t help but wonder if he realizes that we are talking about human lives and not numbers, polls or dollars. And what is the definition of success? I keep hearing we must succeed over there, but am I the only one who is unclear exactly what that means?

Is controlling the oil the ultimate goal? How many American deaths will history record? Will it be a success when the Iraqi death toll reaches one million or two million? Since the democratic elections were held and a government put into place, are we now only waiting for the insurgencies to end before we can withdraw? And what if the insurgency doesn’t end? Are we going to set up permanent bases there to police the democracy? And what about Iran and Afghanistan? Are we really just setting up to make war a never-ending business? We know that military contractors and oil companies are posting huge profits, is this just a coincidence? I know I am perennially perched on the pedestal of the naïve, but it seems as we get lost deeper into the rhetoric, the simplest questions go unasked.

President Bush also stated in the 60 minutes interview that he was not going to change his principles to be popular, but as the President of a democracy, defined by Webster’s as - government by the people; especially: rule of the majority, shouldn’t being popular be the idea?

On Our Journey

In this life there are many twists and turns, many chances to step off the path. When walking the byways of life, through the shadows and into the light, we must not just keep our eyes on the road before us, but on the scenery, as well. Our peripheral vision must be sharp, our instincts poised and our memories of what has transpired before strong. It is said that history repeats and that is truth.

We must stay diligent in recognizing the patterns, because once the design has been acknowledged, it loses it’s power. We must remember that the truth is often hidden in plain sight and is sometimes so simple that many get lost while looking for the mystery.

We must trust the Universe to send us the knowledge we need, but we must remember that seeing the familiar does not automatically mean we are seeing security and safety. Often times the familiar is something we need to examine carefully, the familiar means we could be in the grip of a recurring history and then is the time to pull into our God center and proceed with our intuition in tune.

It is a journey through the fun house, shadows are lurking to make our hearts leap and our brains stutter. The valley of the shadows of fear and death can be a long journey as we struggle in one spot stopped by fear or it can be a short jog as we recognize the special effects and keep our pace forward.

We know that once we step into the light, the journey will make sense, the world is wonderful, mystical and miraculous, but it throbs with rhyme and reason. God has invested a lot in seeing us complete the journey, transcend the walls of the fun house and claim the beauty of our eternal existence.

America Heals as Protesters Trickle Out
I was pleased to see the protesters, after President Bush's announcement to send 21,500 more soldiers into war, trickle out across the country. I am pleased because it assures me that things are getting better, that the country still has a pulse. I recognize that war protesters offend many, as though protesting a war equals disrespect for the sacrifices of the soldier, but I believe it is an important aspect of maintaining our own democracy. Lets face it, a country where all men and women are considered equal should have a voice in how the nation is run. A democracy is a lot like a marriage, if you marry and quit speaking to your spouse, your relationship is going to run into a ditch and the same could be said for raising a country of equals.

Depending on the poll you check anywhere from 48% to 70% of the people polled oppose the war and oppose sending more men and women to be traumatized (because war is hell) or die. So, after the news of more of our family members being deployed and seeing the resigned acceptance by many interviewed on the local news channel, it was a shot of adrenalin in the veins of our own democracy for people to hit the streets and speak their minds. Isn't that one of the things that makes America great? People joining together to change policy are the foundations upon which this wonderful country was created.

If I had my way, we'd retire the "Anti-War" slogan and turn to the idea of Pro-Peace, because isn't that what we want? We want the killing and suffering to stop, not just for American soldiers, but for the Iraqi's, as well. We want our soldiers home, we want them safe and we want them to be healed. War is dirty business and it leaves lasting scars, there is no doubt that the men and women fighting for America are heroes, with courage difficult for most to comprehend, but haven't they fought long and hard enough? Must we send more to experience the ravages of war?

It's interesting that no matter how advanced we become, how civilized we appear on the surface, we still choose to fight and kill as a way of solving problems. It's a tired saying, but war does not create peace. We learn on the playground we should not hit our peers, but as adults we have no problem launching bombs at them. My father, a WWII veteran, used to tell me that war is good for the economy and it appears to be booming, but just because we have always done it this way, does that mean we can not change? Are there no new ideas?

I support both our troops overseas, fighting to bring democracy to the Iraqi people and our protesters at home, stepping out to keep the wheels of our own democracy oiled. So as the news of protests, from California to Washington DC, come to my attention, my heart skips a beat and I know that America is healing and functioning as it should.

America's Jingle

We live in an odd time when governments have to hire advertisement agencies to bolster their image to other nations, perhaps I am naive, but that just feels like a snake oil salesman is giving me his spiel. In an article on Foxnews.com entitled "Image Makers Weigh in on Improving USA's Perception Overseas", it states that if the USA wants to improve it's image overseas then it would be wise to downplay our politics and act like we're listening. I don't know why this surprised me; it's evident that our own government isn't listening to the people after Wednesday night's announcement to send more soldiers to war, despite the election in November and the polls showing again and again that we are tired of this war and confused as to why we are there in the first place. Astounding to me, the lead-in to this article seems to imply that the actual listening is not important; we should only pretend to listen and do what we want anyway. Kudos to the honesty about the deception, am I the only one that feels like a stranger dropped in a strange land?

It seems that on Wednesday, Rice held a Private Sector Summit on Public Diplomacy sponsored by the State Department and the Public Relations Coalition, with State Department officials and 150 top public relations professionals in attendance. Their mission is quoted as "to identify clear action steps the private sector can take to support U.S. public diplomacy."

So, we are asking advertising professionals to create an image for the world to see, instead of actually improving what ails us and then we wonder why America is not liked on the global stage. We are appealing to PR savvy to manage human beings; because we can not forget those nations are full of individuals with hopes, dreams and families, just like our own. We don't believe every advertisement we see, I'm know I'm not going to lose 10 pounds in a week unless I am very sick or I won't develop ripped abs in a month no matter how hard I try, but we, as a nation, are seeking to project such shallow images on the world stage? And are we giving the disclaimer at the end? Is a created image better than the truth of what we really are or just easier to sell?

I wonder what our jingle will be? Will an American Idol sing it? Will Ford or Chevrolet get product placement rights? Will FOX air a new show, "America's Commercial", where we can call and vote for our favorites?

It's no wonder that there is a growing disconnect between America, her people and other nations. When we begin asking the advice of those who are attempting to sell us a thousand products we do not need, when we begin looking at America as a brand name, with all the marketing that that implies, we are losing the connection with the people and isn't it the people that make our country great?

Conspiracy Theories

I've always been attracted to oddities, the strange and unexplained tickle my senses the way nothing else can, perhaps I am a nerd, living in my own little world where wonders aplenty still exist. As a child I spent many hours exploring the woods and wondering about the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island, Bigfoot, UFOs and I still have the tattered copy of Frank Edwards "Stranger Than Science" that I discovered when I was 10 years old. The world of the unexplained seemed so colorful and vibrant to me and my experience in school of black and white rules, yes and no answers felt as through something was lacking. So as an adult I have found that not much has changed, the unknown still intrigues me and in our society there are still mysteries and wonders to explore.

I turn my attention to the conspiracy theories to be found on the Internet with absolute fascination, who knew such ideas were rapidily galloping through cyber-space, as though we were living in a Stephen King novel. Now, I think the whole conspiracy ideal has gotten a bad rap, the definition of conspiracy is an agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful or subversive act or a joining or acting together, as if by sinister design (American Heritage College Dictionary). We know people conspire, we know people and leaders have always conspired, it only takes a few moments of exploration into history to discover this fact, so to label all conspiracy theorists as lunatics and crazies is in itself, a conspiracy. I recognize that 100% is never true, so all conspiracy theorists can not be right, but all can not be wrong, either and even if 1% is truth, wow, an even bigger puzzle begins to emerge.

I have to say my favorite, thus far, is the former footballer from England, David Icke (www.davidicke.com) . The man can weave a story, his grasp of history is impressive and the tales he tells are mind blowing. He paints an unforgettable portrait of lizards, yes, lizards, ruling the upper class of our society. Mr. Icke claims the royal family, our own adminstration and many others in roles of leadership, are shapeshifting lizards with a taste for our blood. Sounds outlandish and outrageous, but spend some time watching his videos available on YouTube and Google and you will find yourself swept up in his vision of the New World Order.

Jeff Rense, a radio host, is the go-to place for all your conspiracy ideas (www.rense.com). He carries a little bit of everything from UFO sightings, paranormal activity, chemtrails, new diseases and 911 corruption. After spending a few hours exploring his website, you won't just fear the monster under the bed, but the monsters in the government, water poluted with floride, aspartame, diseases of all description and of course, the New World Order.

And then we have the master of all conspiracy theorists, radio host from Austin, Tx, Alex Jones (www.infowars.com) . Mr. Jones sees corruption on almost every level of government, he is best known for sneaking into the ultra rich retreat Bohemian Grove and recording what looks to be a mock human sacrifice carried out by upstanding and powerful members of our banking systems, government and newspaper communities. It's fascinating stuff and Mr. Jones also has a great grasp of history and uses it to impressively to connect his theories of the New World Order in a tight package.

These websites push the envelope on the hard to swallow, but once you get past the initial gag reflex, the ideas go down much easier. So the next time you're interested in a good scare, skip the theater and tune in to these websites, chances are you'll never look at the world in the same way again.

The Shift

It has been said that a polar shift is upon us and that may be the cause of global warming. The idea that North will become South seems like an outrageous idea to most, that the rising sun would also shift locations, seems even more so, but surprise! Scientific magazine are discussing such theories. Wow. Evidently the magnetics of the earth are at the lowest point in over 2000 years. In the summer of 2002 airports in the US began renumbering their runways to correlate with the new magnetic headings the pilots were seeing. It seems that both Hebrew traditions and Native legends speak of a time approximately 3600 years ago when the sun rose in the west and set in the east, then on one particular day it lingered in the sky longer than usual and the next day the sun rose in the east and set in the west, as it does today.

I've heard about the shift and have compared it to the Christian version of the Rapture and I don't think the ideas are very separate, I think most traditions have passed down the legends and stories of the past shift. But as with most stories passed by word of mouth, a lot of the details get lost and other people add their own personal spin to the tales, so we must find the kernal of truth in the tapestry of fancy.

Although we don't have any ideas of how this shift may affect our electronic world, most believe that the change will be greatest on our own consciousness, that the change in the magnetic field may "re-set" us much like reloading our computer's operating system. The effect would be to bring forward our original self, instead of the social masks we adopt, our true selves would be exposed. The past evils or wrong-doings, our guilts, fears and hurts we gave to others would be erased as The Great Cleansing occurs at the level of our core memory, our consciousness.

Evidently, the magnetics of the Earth help keep us regulated in a certain mind set and the lessening of the magnetic field, lessens the hold over our consciousness, sets us free. It's seems that when the astronauts left the magnetic field of the Earth they each had their own spiritual awakenings, sudden awarenesses and revelations that had never occurred to them when their feet were planted on the ground, but looking back at the Earth from a distance totally changed their perceptions of reality.

So for those of us who have felt the change and continue to feel the changes, the quirks of perception as our old realities slide away from us, there is good news, Science is pondering the same questions. Although there is little known about past shifts (estimated as four or up to nine), we know that as a species we have survived, and there is nothing to fear, this is a natural and expected evolution. The most important things we can take into this change is our positive attitude, our openness to life and the love we wish to see reflected on the Earth.

UFOs, Meteors and Space Junk, Oh My!

I've always been fascinated by the night sky. Since I was a small child I've stared at the stars, always looking for something out of place, something moving. Even spotting a plane's lights overhead can give me a momentary thrill. When I was three or four my imaginary friends were Big and Little Mr. Moon Man and my dreams were of brights lights moving in the night sky. I've seen Close Encounters of the Third Kind more times than I can count and I still get the same excitement in my gut when the lights are soaring over that dark, curvy road.

So it is with child-like wonder that I turn to the news... UFO spotted over O'Hare Airport, also over Istanbul, Turkey and one was reported to have crashed in South Africa. A retired police officer in the UK states that he saw a UFO "burning up in the sky" and the French are publishing their UFO reports online soon. The "space junk" or Russian rocket burning up in the sky over Colorado was a spectacular sight and a meteorite crashed through a roof in New Jersey. Meteors were also seen over Canada and Florida. Checking out Google video and YouTube is a veritable feast of sightings, both of meteors and ufos, but it is difficult to date them. So what does all this mean? Are the ET's here? Is the sky falling?

Well, we know folks have been watching the sky and reporting strange lights since written records began, cave drawings show discs coming out of the clouds. And even in the Bible, folks are coming and going by way of the sky. The possibilities seem endless, is it future us time traveling? Is it benevolent beings sent to guide us? Could it be evil aliens hungry to eat us? Demons coming to destroy us? Secret government agents with a mission to discredit and confuse us? Or is it a naturally occurring event, a scheduled cycle that we are too young to understand?

I don't profess to know anymore about the subject than the next person, but the allure of the unknown is hard to resist, that Christmas morning excitement of what we may discover once we unwrap those packages. My dreams have always been littered with images of shooting stars, crashing planes and unknown lights and it is with that in mind that I search these reports, wondering what it means.

There are groups of people out there claiming to be "starseeds", waiting for their mother ship to come and rescue them from this god-forsaken place. There are others claiming to channel entities from all sorts of planets, known and unknown, and these beings are warning us of the ultimate demise of earth or offering hope for our salvation. And, of course, there are those who claim an alien colony is alive and well in the tunnels under the Denver Airport and various other locations across the globe. Others claim they have already infiltrated the government, an X-Files, Smoking Man scenario. And we've all heard of the abduction stories. But the majority still seem to believe that is it pure rubbish, that we are all there is and all there ever was and this is the notion I find hardest to swallow.

Life grows pretty boring when we stop wondering, when we stop asking the outrageous questions, when we stop pondering the what ifs of the Universe. That child-like desire to know is one of our greatest gifts, but maturity seems to sweep it under the rug as we learn to fear looking silly. So, have you watched the sky lately?

A Thought

I speak a lot about intuition because I believe in this day and age it is the most important asset we have, it seems that the world is going a little crazy, or perhaps it has always been and I am now just aware of the fact. The morning I saw an article that Henry Paulson, the US Secretary of the Treasury was arrested in Europe on charges of money laundering. That does not bode well for the US, I think, when our own government is accused of handling dirty money in an international forum.

I tried to verify this information, but discovered that everywhere I found the headline posted, the news article had been removed. The mainstream media has not mentioned this tidbit and Mr. Paulson was seated beside Conde Rice at Pres. Ford's funeral, so obviously he was quickly released.

I mention this information because it is a confirmation that the age of ethics is upon us. I predict that 2007 will bring big changes to our country, the machine of lies and corruption is dying a slow death, winding down, rusted and no longer viable. We are waking up and expecting more from our government, more from our religious leaders and more from ourselves. It is a beautiful time to be alive and history will speak kindly of us.

So where we used to look to our politicians, evening news and newspapers for the information we need to make the right decisions in our lives, it is now time to relax into our inner knowings, our God center to lead and advise us. We must remember that corporations, pharmaceutical companies and money hungry politicians have no need to tell us the truth, if they did, they would lose our support, so they tell us pretty lies of how they are concerned about our well-being, our future and the future of our children. But is that what you see? Is that what you feel?

The cable news shows push their agendas, their political leanings, they prey on our fears, they scream and yell like 3 y/o's fighting over Play-doh and we still trust them? Our media has learned the lessons well of Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda minister, that a lie repeated often enough becomes truth to those that hear it.

Folks, it is time we trust ourselves, it is time to know ourselves, the collective society has gone insane, has lost touch with reality and if we don't start using our God given talents, we will go down the drain with the masses. If we continue spending energy worrying about Trump and O'Donnell or Miss Who The Hell Cares making out with Miss Who The Hell Cares or whether Brittany has chosen to wear panties or who is saying Happy Holidays vs. Merry Christmas, we are going to run out of time, valuable time. This is indeed the most glorious time on earth to be alive, don't miss it living in the box.

Near Death Experience

It's funny that although I had a near death experience a few years ago, I never really studied up on the idea. I guess I didn't need to know, as I was busy enough just working through the changes the experience brought to my life, questioning every aspect of myself, my motives and my intentions. I won't say that the aftermath of being thrust back into the world has been an easy thing for me, but I can say that these last few years have been the best of my life.

The most successful way I have of describing what occurred to me is that it was like I was set free in the most beautiful forest you can imagine, to frolic in the warmth and I awoke with only a couple leaves to understand the experience. The forest, heaven, vast and filled with knowledge, light and beauty and the leaves, a reminder that it exists and I am welcome. I have heard that heaven is a beautiful city with streets paved in gold, but I guess for me it is a landscape of rolling fields, crystal streams and forests waiting to be explored.

I can't remember details of tunnels and light, I remember love, warmth and my son. As I lay in the hospital, fighting infection after infection, littered with bags and tubes, I would awake from that land and cry, depressed that I could not stay. I would look at what I perceived as my ruined body and I would cry some more, but my tears were not anger, they were frustration that I had to go to such extremes just to wake up to my own sense of self, knowledge and beauty.

The changes, once I began to recover, came slowly. First, it was a realization that I had to be a better person, nicer, more considerate of others, sounds simple enough of the surface, but life had trained me to be on guard, to be a soldier, to be a victim and I had to step out of a lifetime of training. Then, I had to learn to love myself, because what I see is a reflection of me and how can I love my neighbor, when I am hating myself? Next, in what felt like an act of preservation I had to weed my garden of friends, I had to cut ties with folks that I loved, but who I felt were ultimately pulling me from the place I longed to be.

I've always had a subtle knowing of things, a knowing without knowing, if you will, but as time progressed that feeling grew in intensity and I struggled to accept a broader view of life. And I began to question. It seems so much of what I was told in life, I accepted and filed, but as I began looking over the data, I saw that I had believed in many fallacies, many about myself and if I was wrong about me, then I had to look at the whole world with new eyes. In this life we have many people telling us who we are, where we fit, what our role is, what we should be guilty about, whether or not we are saved, good or worthy and it is incredibly freeing to throw all that aside and say No. But it is also frightening, because then we have no old clothes to pull about our self as we shiver in a land of newness, we can no longer blame others for our situation or mistakes.

The greatest lessons I have learned from my near death experience is that the world and the universe is a mystical place, full of treasures, miracles and wonders. That the only thing that stops us from achieving our dreams is our thoughts and attitudes. That questioning and looking at situations from a different angle is not a sin, but our duty as spirits sent into this world. That chasing our dreams is not selfish, but what is expected of us, to do anything less is to be mired down in the muck of the earth. That pursuing that thread of creativity that runs through all of us is the greatest gift we can give.

Facts

It is said that the more you learn, the less you know and I have found that statement to be truth. I have spent the last few months on a flow-of-consciousness exploration of the world, consuming great deals of information, secure in the knowledge that at the end of the road all the pieces would fall into place and I would see the complete picture. A bit of a naive thought, I think, for that has not occurred. I have more questions now than when I started. It seems the more I have learned, the less certain I am of calling anything a "fact".

There are so many facts out there, many totally contradicting other facts and yet they all exist and they all have followers, believing to their core and willing to suffer dissension just to maintain the status quo. There are facts in medicine, politics, religion and spirituality and they all have exceptions to the rules, to the facts. How can that be? Facts are suppose to be solid, things we can lean on and trust in, but if they are not always true, are they still facts?

So if it's not the facts that count, but the interpretations and the loudest voice, the one repeated the most is the one that wins, where does that leave us? People have spent lifetimes studying one thread of the vast tapestry and have found only a tiny snapshot, so how are we to learn the secrets in the time allotted us?

I think the answer is to know ourselves well enough, to be comfortable enough in our skin and in our thoughts, that we can let our intuition guide us. We must understand that there are as many facts and realities as there are human beings to believe and live them. We must not make any one's opinion more valuable than our own.

There are a lot of known facts in the world and one could look like a complete fool for disagreeing with said information, it's sort of like yelling at the t.v., a useless endeavor. Perhaps it not so much about changing The world, but changing Our world and knowing that the domino affect will handle those things outside of us. We are all connected on one level and disconnected on another, so it should be enough for each of us to hold our own truths dearly and not harm our neighbor's truth. We don't have to make everyone see the world as we see it, that is how dictators are born.

Happy 2007

The Associated Press has released American's predictions for the new year and it appears we see gloom and doom, as the headline proclaimed. It's really no surprise, considering what the television tells us daily, how could we hope to see anything positive in the future? I, on the other hand, see that the new year will be the best I have known.

One in four believe that 2007 will see the second coming of Jesus, which actually surprised me, as did the fact that one in five believe this will be the year we discover extraterrestrial life. Six in ten believe there will be another terrorist attack in the form of a nuclear or biological weapon. 35 percent think that there will be a cure for cancer found and the same percentage agree that the draft will be reinstated. 70 percent of those questioned believe that we will have more natural disasters and that the earth will grow warmer, still.

I was pleased to see this poll, because it shows me clearly that the energy I speak of so often is being felt by many. We all feel that something big is about to transpire, the earth is electric with anticipation, but we seem to be confused about the direction we are supposed to look. America is a great place, with so many opinions available, thoughts, theories and ideas tossing about, waiting to be explored and we are the seekers, sent to put the puzzle together. It is a great time to be alive.

So, do I believe we will see the second coming of Christ? I think it is likely, history has been shown to repeat itself, so it only makes sense that we will indeed see the coming of Christ. I hope this time, though, that we do not kill him. It has been said that we love our live conformists and our dead trouble makers and Jesus was a trouble maker.

As far as extraterrestrial life, I think we are only waiting for our government to confirm what we already know. I have always watched the sky, knowing that more exists than what the common belief holds, it's really only a matter of time before we see the evidence of what the world has called crazy and impossible for decades.

The terror attacks will happen, we are prepared daily by our media for such an event, so it seems likely that it will happen and it will be bad. There has been a steady increase of anxiety building in anticipation for this destruction, so it's hard for me to imagine that it will not occur. The same goes for the natural disasters, when we expect bad things, bad things happen.

So for 2007, I see us growing in consciousness, love and compassion. I see the hate that divides us, dying. I see corrupt governments crumbling. I see creating becoming as important as striving and fighting for money. I see the world awakening to love and putting down their weapons. I see dis-ease healing. I see wonders we've never known manifesting in our daily lives. I see the earth and mankind evolving to a healthier state. I am seeing the best that I can imagine and trusting that others are as well and I know just as we can create the gloom and doom the AP spoke of, we can also create the most beautiful world we can envision. Mind your thoughts, watch your words, speak only of the best and know in your heart that you have the power to make those beautiful images reality.

Happy New Year!!

The Holy Days

Remember to stay positive, don't dwell in the darkness. I spent the majority of the Christmas vacation with the television on, I wanted to check out what the world was saying and what chaos resides out there. The world seems so small through the eyes of the box, the choices limited. Sadly, we saw the loss of James Brown, the godfather of soul (the hardest for me, my home town hero), Gerald Ford, ex-president and Frank Stanton, ex-CBS president and the creator of the "eye" logo. Three great men, three "kings" of their chosen worlds, I wonder what that means in the bigger picture.

I watched a lot of religious shows, surprising how much was available in such a secular world. When I expected to hear wonderful messages of hope, as it was Christmas, I heard of war. The same message repeated on each program, the war on Christmas, the war on Christians, I heard of murder, saw an interview with a pastor who helped save Jeffrey Dahmer's soul, and then I heard of more killing. And I kept thinking this is Christmas aren't we supposed to be rejoicing in the promise of eternal blessings, or something like that, but all I heard was war. Then I watched a bible prophesy minister who seemed to imply that the coming of the microchip implants (the number of the beast) was "exciting" and after showing some news articles from NASA said that the new Jerusalem would be coming from space. Sometimes I feel like a stranger dropped in a strange land, I always thought church was supposed to make you feel good, loved and secure in your salvation, but all I saw was fear, terror and an obsession with death.

Then, of course, I got on the Internet to see what the smaller churches were saying and I found much the same message. Is there a war on Christmas? I think there is a war on common sense and sanity. I think there is a war on free thinking. I think there are grand manipulations on so many levels of our reality that the manipulations are manipulated. I was reminded of Orwell's 1984, how can I not be? Love is hate, Ignorance is strength and War is peace. So folks, the question becomes how do we stay positive in an upside down, twisted, mirrored world?

First we need to breathe and remember why we are here. We are not rats in a maze, we are spirits of God. We are not here to hate and judge, we are here to learn, grow and become brighter lights for God. We are not soulless consumers and competitors, we are the children of God, chosen to become great.

Be good to you, take the time to put up your feet and relax, take time to clear your mind of all the noise. Know that the energy you feel has been spoken about for eons, it's a natural evolution of the spirit. Trust yourself, a lot of powerful delusions exist today, trust your intuition to guide you through the jungle of chaos.

Take the time to smile, laugh and wonder. See goodness. Breathe in nature. Turn off the television. And as important as seeking is, remember to rest and recharge.

Who Benefits?

The words, Who benefits?, have been ringing in my head. Who benefits if we are finding ourselves believing in religion, aliens, the illuminati, lizards as the elite, the rapture, the ascension, the harvest, the bible, the devil or the nwo shadowy government? As crazy as many of these ideas may sound to some, there are people making lots of money selling these ideas and more and more people are believing them everyday. So they all become relevant in the bigger scheme in what is happening in our world.

We must ask ourselves if we fall in line, like ducks on the way to water, who benefits? Are we just one mind here on earth? Or are we free thinking individuals? It has been said that the Universe has invested a lot in our becoming individuals and it would be wise not to throw it away. We must ask ourselves who is funding these people with the slick websites, videos and books? Yes, a lot of their facts on history and politics are right on target, but are their conclusions? Are they seeking to spread truth or dissension? Are they striving to wake us up or bring us out? Do they want to stir our emotions and use our power for good or create paranoia and more darkness?

The reason I began asking these questions was a news article that came to my attention on the solstice. A virgin birth was announced as a komodo dragon had laid 7 eggs without relations with a male dragon, a miracle! Wow. Just days before Christmas and I thought surely the christians are up in arms over this "virgin birth", but no, evidently not. I searched the websites, watched my local christian channel, but no. Wow. Okay, but surely the christian conspiracy theorists would have noticed this announcement, isn't this what those folks call blasphemy? So I looked around, and no, no reaction. Strange, I thought, double checked my facts, yes, it was still in the papers, the eggs now described as 8, but the story was basically the same. Okay, then surely those people that believe the evil lizards are ruling the illuminati and the banks, surely those guys have seen what this means in their worlds of code and trickery, surely they have jumped on this announcement, but no, I was wrong again.

I'm not much of a bible reader, I have several and I have been known to pick one up from time to time and try to make sense of it, so when I heard of the dragon with the 7 eggs, I immediately remembered that I had read something like that in the bible, so I looked it up. Yes, right there in revelations 12, something about a red dragon with 7 heads, pretty close, so why hadn't the folks that run that rapture index mentioned this tidbit? How could the christian sites, that carry all-you-will-need-for-your-rapture-experience, not have noticed? Why didn't all those prophesy sites post and repost articles concerning a virgin birth of a dragon at Christmas and revelations? I'm sure I missed some sites that did, but the ones the majority rely on have said not a word, have not opened a dialogue and I find that odd.

The truth is hidden in plain sight, I guess, isn't that the way with all great puzzles and riddles? I suppose the difficult part is seeing past the trick the light is playing on our eyes. Remember, there are shreds of truth running through all these theories, conjectures and facts, but it is in the interpretation that changes your journey through the carnival fun house, the valley of death. Just because something jumps out and scares the hell out of you, doesn't mean that is the whole truth! The complete puzzle is bigger and more vast than we can comprehend, the pieces, scary as they may be, are out of context, don't get stopped by the special effects. As seekers it is our job to look at all the possible pictures, dust off our intuition and feel our way through the fun house tunnel until our eyes adjust. So when a new idea falls in your lap, ask... Who benefits?

Keep Hope Alive

I've been struggling with the concept of time, attempting to make sense in how western time and mayan time could possibly match. I've also been attempting to see how time truly is circular, not linear after all. I've wandered through history, connecting the dots between the rise and fall of kingdoms and atrocities perpetrated by men in the name of God. I've studied Jesus trying to discern the truth of his words, from what I've been told they mean. I spent some time understanding politics, fascism and all the other ism's. I've looked into the conspiracy theories and decided the only conspiracy is the denial that many of these theories are truth. I've watched videos about HAARP, Bohemian Grove, Disclosure Projects, 911 Truth and I've seen Alex Jones, David Icke and a myriad of others. I've been to the Christian websites and have viewed the videos and TV broadcasts. I've cruised into space and time with Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking. I read about prophesies from all cultures. And I've scanned the latest videos on Youtube of ufo and meteor sightings. I've walked through the metaphysical pages explaining the upcoming Shift in dimensions. And more. I feel like I've been around the world and back looking for continuous threads that tie this picture together.

And a lot of what I have seen is fear, control, wordplay and illusion. I have found it best to approach many of these subjects, sites and ideas with a "Who benefits?" mentality. Who benefits if I believe this idea? Does it add fear to an already fearful world? Can I push through the fear to find the real motive behind this idea being released into the world? What's this person or group selling? Are they wishing to enlighten me or scare me? Do their ideas steal hope? Is the only solution to the issue they are proposing to fight? To hate? To cause more divisions?

Enlightenment is a funny thing, when you open the doors on the dark, it takes a few minutes for your eyes to adjust and to see things clearly. Fear is part of the adjustment process, it is said that first you will be disturbed, then you will be amazed, but the loss of hope means you are seeing an illusion. It is true that forces we can not comprehend rule this earth and keep the illusions alive, be they men or lizards or aliens it does not matter, because the machine is dying. The machine feeds on fear, stop living in fear and you stop feeding the machine.

My problem with understanding the time frame came from not seeing the macrocosm, being human and seeing only earth time, I wasn't seeing the whole picture. It's not just earth time being affected by this change it is All time. All planets, All Universes, it is God, not the vengeful, jealous God, full of human inconsistencies that we have been taught about since birth, but the real God of which we can not comprehend. It is evolution. All things change with time, even time.

I also struggled to get past seeing time as linear, from point A to B to C and instead seeing it as circular, which means all time is now, just different dimensions of now. Which means, theoretically, by changing our thoughts to positive we can change the past and therefore the future. The past is not sealed and unchangeable as men would have us believe, we have tried to seal the past with words and books, tried to make it whole and solid, therefore linear, but it has not worked.

We have tried to encapsulate ourselves, to prevent further evolution, but man can not control the workings of God. Man can not control time and natural cycles. The evolution is occurring right on schedule, the fear that has kept us trapped is being exposed as illusions. The things we are seeing are not new things, the conspiracies, concentration camps, chemtrails, secret wars and secret societies, none of these things are new, we are just waking up. These things have always existed, kingdoms don't fall, they just change hands, the face of the ruler and the land on which it stands changes, not the ideals behind the control. As we individually wake up and see these things for what they are, the entire consciousness of the world also awakens.

For two thousand years (if not longer, time is funny) religion and politics have joined hands and resources to keep us ignorant of our essential being, our God connection. The leaders at the top of the pyramid have known about this shift and thought they could out smart God, who is calling us, and maintain their power. The television tells us hundreds of times a day that we are sick and need this drug or that one to feel better, to be normal, to fit in. Social anxiety? Male enhancement? Diabetes? Cancer? Hundreds of time a day they insert that thought, that fear into our minds. Are you sick yet? The news chases ideas of terror, domestic terror, international terror, kids killing kids terror, lunatics shooting innocents terror, flu epidemic terror, war terror, money terror. Are you scared yet? Then the religious right tell us that the rapture is coming any day and you better be in church or you may be left behind to suffer the wrath of God. Are you praying yet? And on top of all this we must go to work, get the kids to soccer, cook meals, wash clothes, work overtime to pay down those credit cards and have fun! Are you tired yet? Precisely the point.

Step out from the electronic world and feel the change. When the television tells you of war and disease step into your back yard or local park and see if you can see that of which they speak. The time has come to put your intellect and big media, politics and religion aside and know your intuition. The change is upon us, the Shift, the Rapture, the end of a time... however you choose to view it, but know you have far more control over the face of this change than you have ever imagined. Seek and study, break down the barriers of fear, shine the light in the dark corners and see that what you thought was a monster is really just a pair of dirty jeans. And above all else, keep hope alive.

Time and Chemtrails

I've got some questions....If the Mayan calendar ends 12-21-2012 and time is speeding up, how do we know their date and our date is the same? We know that the calendar we live by in the west has been manipulated over and again through history, so how do the days match? It is said that the Mayan calendar never errs, but it is also said that the Bible never contradicts itself, these are things I have been told, not things that I know. It's not the Mayan calendar I have trouble with, it's our ability to interrupt their facts.

If time is speeding up, wouldn't we feel it? How would that manifest in our individual experiences? Would clocks fall out of synch? Would seasons? Have we become so conditioned to seek our timekeeping from computers and cable boxes, that we would just adjust our "old fashioned" clocks accordingly? What about our own biological clocks? Wouldn't they just adjust to the seasons they had always known, disregarding the date on the calendar?

I felt the change as early as 3-3-03, as a strange pull to the change of seasons that I had never felt before, I didn't recognize it at the time and assumed it was a physical illness. The doctors agreed and found something to cut out of my body and after months of recovery, I felt the pull even stronger by autumn. By spring of 2004, I awoke knowing that the beat of the earth had changed, altered in a way I couldn't define, but I knew that it was truth. The only analogy I could think to find was to compare it to the beat of music, changing from 4/4 time to 3/4 time, which I didn't understand because I was not musical, but a month later I began playing the drums. It honestly was a frightening time for me and I questioned my sanity, how could I just know something that no one else seemed to notice? Discovering the Mayan calendar and studying time and perception was a huge validation for the odd things I have experienced in the last few years.

I see a lot of conspiracy theories out there and I've wondered the most about chemtrails, the patterns, stripes and various designs we are seeing in the skies above us. Part of the Mayan prophesy is that serpent ropes will drop from the heavens towards the end of the calendar to help us ascend to the next dimension. Could serpent ropes and chemtrails be one in the same? We see the chemtrails in various forms, some see planes distributing them, some can't see the plane, others see orbs. It's funny how we didn't notice them until someone pointed them out to us or we heard a rumor or saw something on the internet and then we all suddenly saw them. How long have they really been there? Or is it indeed a recent production? And what if we are only seeing what our perception allows us to see? Do we see planes because that is what we expect to see up there? Do we see them now because they have recently begun or have they always been there and we are just waking up? Are they poisoning us or are they thinning the veil?

I believe that this is the most important time we will ever experience, the earth, humanity and time is changing, our thoughts are manifesting into things faster than any other time in our history. We need to remember that fear is the illusion, but it is an illusion that can cause great harm. Remember that fear is just a step on the stairway to higher knowing, if you linger on that stair, you are missing the great view from the top. Remember to think positively, mind your thoughts, because you are bringing to yourself what you are thinking about, forget the past, it no longer exists. See your reflection in those around you and grow from it, learn from it. And above all else, send love, send love to your future, because we are creating it this very moment.

The Gospel of Thomas

At lot of controversy has stemmed from the gnostic gospels, many feeling that this is the Jesus that they knew existed and were unable to find in the Bible and many feeling that it is sacrilege to even mention the word gnosis (knowledge). It seems to me the more artistic the person, the more the gospels seem to apply and the more fundamental, frightened or materially bound the person, the greater the sin for seeking.

I suppose that the idea of salvation coming from outside of you could be a soothing idea, knowing that being dunked in water and saying a few words can clear all obstacles from your path to heaven and knowing that once you are saved, you are always saved, is a wonderful theory, but is it truth? After I discovered the gnostic gospels a few years ago, I mentioned to a friend (a lifelong Catholic) that I figured I was a gnostic christian, there was silence on the phone line for a few seconds and then she whispered, as though God was listening, that I didn't know what I was saying. There was fear in her voice as though I had just admitted to murdering someone and maybe in her opinion not agreeing with the orthodoxial view is comparable to murder.

I guess the problem I have had with religion is the way it is man-aged, we must all conform to one ideal, one solution, one way. We must not stray from the path of what the leaders have laid before us, we are to assume that they know Jesus better, but the Gospel of Thomas tells us that Jesus said, "The pharisees and the scribes have taken the keys of knowledge(gnosis) and hidden them. They themselves have not entered, nor have they allowed to enter those who wish to. You, however, be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves." #39

Our religious leaders want us to believe that they have the answers and that the path of salvation is through them and only they can save us. But in the gospel, Jesus said, "If those that lead you say to you, 'See, the kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know youselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty." #3 So how can our leaders help us know ourselves? Isn't "finding ourselves" the cause of much suffering in the religious community? Isn't that considered selfish? We are to know that we are born sinners and then look to those above us to point us in the right direction. Perhaps if our leaders knew themselves better, then Ted Haggart wouldn't have been telling his congregation one thing and his prostitute lover and meth provider another.

So why were the ways of salvation hidden from us, I guess the question one mught ask is, "Who benefits from our ignorance?" and the answer becomes perfectly clear. The churches on every corner and their leaders benefit. So seekers continue seeking, don't be strayed from the path by fear or condemnation. Jesus said, "I shall choose you, one out of a thousand, and two out of ten thousand, and they shall stand as a single one." #23 and he also said, "Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you will find the kingdom. For you are from it, and to it you will return." #49

Prediction or Creation

It has become apparent to me that millions feel the change on the earth, it's has also become apparent to me that there are thousands of theories about what is occurring. Is it global warming? Is Jesus on his way? Are the ET's about to make themselves known? Are we ascending into the next dimension? Are millions about to disappear in the blink of an eye? Or are millions about to be killed by the wars raging across the planet? Are corrupt governments falling? Or is the New World Order about to take over and enslave us in a new holocaust?

With all these ideas flying through cyberspace, people are grasping for truth, people are fearful and are preparing themselves for a battle of epic proportions. And I want to remind everyone that thoughts are things, what you focus on, what you believe, what you fear and what you talk about you are bringing into creation. I know the lament, we must be informed! You can't just put your head in the sand and ignore the world and I want to ask, why not? Why not?

The Internet is an amazing tool, add the high speed connection and it is the modern day creation of the Tower of Babel, many of us using it as a means to find our God. It connects all races, all nations and all languages in a forum to share ideas, I called it the God machine long before it dawned on me that maybe it was a way to find that which we all seek. It is a Universal connection to the divine sitting in our own homes and what we seek through those wires, we will surely find. It is the teacher and the creator of worlds, just spend some time looking through sites and you will find worlds that are lovely and ugly, you will find truth and lies, light and darkness, love and hate and that which you cling to, you will surely bring into your own creations.

Sometimes when I look at the world through the eyes of the Internet or the Television I get the sense that I am looking at a dead machine, engines still spinning, just waiting to run out of gas or finally blow a gasket, it seems that there is no intelligence behind the images anymore, just the recycling of old ideas and stories. History has been shown to repeat itself, whether or not we are aware of the previous events, so are we standing at the foot of the Tower, awaiting God's wrath for seeking him? Was it God that tore down the tower or man, fearing we were getting too close to the truth? Knowing that once we found God, we wouldn't need leaders and Kings. Knowing that once we saw God, we would realize that this world we call reality truly is a corpse and we are above it, it has no more power over us.
The rapture believers see that a third of the earth's population will ascend into heaven, in the blink of an eye or in a flash of white light, leaving the rest to suffer the wrath of God. The ascension believers see that earth's population is ascending to a new level of consciousness, becoming more of a light/love-being, more God-like and that each person that awakens helps the rest of the world awaken. Both groups believe that a new heaven and earth will be created. I think they are both right, I think both groups will create what they envision.
We have to remember that thoughts are things, the more beautiful the thought, the more beautiful the creation. We must learn to love our neighbors, we must learn to take responsibilty for our own existance, we must remember it is our creation. If we are victims, then we have chosen to be and we can just as easily choose to be victors. And if we choose to see genocide perpetrated by a loving God, then we could be creating the demise of those we love. If we choose to see heaven on earth, beauty, love, health and abundance for all, then we can create that, as well.
I do believe that big changes are happening in the earth, galactic, mythical or biblical, you decide. And remembering that it is a choice, I ask you to see love and joy, not dispair and fear. I ask you to see abundance, not lack. I ask you to see people awaking to beauty, not burning in hell for their sins. What you see, you attract, what you feel for others, you bring home to yourself. See goodness, see blessings, see love.
Bringing about a new heaven on earth.... http://www.3feetup.com

2012

The band Chicago had a song entitled, "Does Anyone Know What Time It Is" and I used to think, What a stupid song, but now I understand a little more of what they may have been saying. It is said that the Mayan calendar runs out in the year 2012 and I wonder why we believe that will actually happen in our date 2012. I resonate with the Mayan belief systems and the thread of creativity that runs through the world and us, all I doubt is that our date keeping and theirs is in alignment.

Maybe my obsession of late with time is a little out there, but I feel that our time wrong. Okay folks, I began pondering time when a voice in a dream told me to pay attention to it, so I did some studying. In 46 BC while a adopting the Julian calendar we had a year that was 455 days long and when the British Empire adopted the Gregorian calendar the date changed from September 2, 1752 to September 14, 1752 overnight. Now we've been adding or taking away days ever since we began keeping calendars, so why do believe todays date is 12-12-2006?

I know the reality of the situation is that everyone must keep the same date to maintain the same perception of time, we must make our meetings and pay our bills, but does that mean our time is correct? I suppose that if everyone has the same perception and thoughts create things, then the thought of millions that todays date is 12-12-2006 is factual and true, but it still feels off to me.

When I see so much information and speculation out there about the 2012 Ascension and I see people planning for this change in dimension, I wonder if all the plans are based on an errant date. Of course, when we talk about these things we are talking about spiritual realms, spiritual events and do days and dates exist as we know them on that level of being? And there is God, I imagine s/he could smooth the folds between time into one cohesive and inclusive pattern. So maybe in All Time, days and years have no meaning and it is a moot point.

But what if in natures time it isn't 2006, but 2011? Or 2010? Would the events unfold as the Mayans predicted in our year 2012 or in theirs? Does our thought power of creation exceed the earths power of natural, regular and expected evolution? Is the date what it is because we have created it that way? It has been said that no man knows the date or time, but it has also been said that what you are waiting on has already occured and you just don't recognize it.

Time is important, difficult to man-age and not absolute, so do you know what time it is? I'll leave you with what the voice in the dream said to me, "Pay attention, something is wrong with time."

It's About Time

It is said that time is a continuum from the past through the present and into the future, it is also motion of mass. Some say time is linear, a straight line from beginning to end, others say it is circular, the beginning being the end and still others believe there is no beginning or end, just a loop.

It is said that the calendar is the center of a civilization and the one we use is the Gregorian Calendar, it was named for Pope Gregory XIII and put into practice February 24, 1582, although it took a couple hundred years for all nations to embrace the change. Periodically calendars have to be adjusted because even through time is said to a continuum that is unchanging, is it also not absolute. Even though we have a process for keeping up with the days, it slides out of sync with the seasons and needs to be updated.

So what is time? Is it an unchanging continuum, irreversible, a straight line through the Universe? Or is it an evolving circle? The Mayan culture believed that there were cycles within time, history repeating itself. The Mayan calendar was not so much about time as it was the flow of creation and the ability to recognize repeating patterns. The Gregorian calendar is a commerse calendar concerned with taxes, tithes and money.

Before we knew the earth was round, we knew of the wheel of life. Before we knew time was linear, we knew it was circular and being circular, it was full of repeating patterns. Before we knew we had only one life on this earth, we knew of reincarnation and we had as many lives as we needed to see the patterns, many attempts at evolution.

Evolution is the theory that organisms change morphologically (form or structure, including language) and physiologically with time, also refered to as natural selection. Isn't that what has happened through history? We have changed calendars, language, ideals of beauty, currency and religion, isn't that evolution? We believe that as human beings we are the apex, we have risen to the heights of technology, education, medicine and science, we have evolved with time to be the giants of the earth.

It has been said that the only constant is change and if time is not solid, if time is changable, all things are changable, especially and including us humans. Changing calendars and attempting to control time has not stopped the evolution of the planet, the spiritually elect are being awakened. Do you know what time it is?

Waking Up

Folks are waking up, there is beautiful energy lighting the earth! I've pondered so much the unconsciousness of the planet and have seen it inside myself and wondered why it seemed so hard to stay awake. The gnostic Valentinus (100-153 AD) spoke of a forgetfulness that descends on mankind. In the Gospel of Thomas, Jesus was said to say that mankind was intoxicated. The gnostic Sylvia Brown says that earth is the insane asylum of the Universe.

We have understood we are born sinners and that we have to work very hard to be accepted into the pearly gates of heaven. But we are God's creation, He would not have created us wrong, lacking. We were seeds of perfection on the earth, beautiful blossoms, shining with God's light and then we learned we were sinners. What if we come into life perfect, without sin and having all the information we need tucked inside us? Then the forgetfulness, the intoxication come as we learn the ways of this world. Each generation teaches the next generation and one can only teach what one knows. I believe it was Jesus who said, the blind will lead the blind into a pit.

In the Bible it mentions that we need to seek, but that seems to be only as far as your nearest church and then consider yourself done, you have found. The Gospel of Thomas quotes Jesus as saying "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All."

We have understood that we are to accept on the basis of faith and trust in the dogma that is handed down to us. Dogma is an unquestioned belief, how can we seek without questioning? How can we shed this cloak of forgetfulness, the fog of intoxication without shining the light on things that may make us and others uncomfortable? We can only see that which is illuminated, we can not see in the dark and ignorance of the Truth is a very dark and sleep filled place.

Yes, we are seeing things that are disturbing to us, we are looking into to ideas that years ago would have seemed so foreign, or even sinful, to us and we have felt the guilt for not doing as we have been told. We have felt the change on the earth and have grown restless with the limiting boundaries we perceive around us and we are finding that most of the fences we see are indeed an illusion. Tell yourself you remember God, say it out loud and then trust that you will remember. Once we shed the weight of forgetfulness, we will know and be known.

It is a glorious time to be alive, seeking has never been easier and never before have so many been seeking. The earth is filling with light and beauty, know it, feel it, trust it, it is an incredible time to be living.

Joy!

On Your Journey

Life is beautiful. Don't forget, as you delve into the mysteries of your existance, that life is beautiful. The darkness and fear you think you see is an illusion, it's wordplay. Instead of labeling that feeling anxiety, call it joy and excitment about being alive, breathe into it, don't fight it, it's a glorious time to be alive, of course you are excited.

Remember to take the time to be still and breathe, time is funny, you have as much as you think you have. Remind yourself you have all the time in the world. Enjoy the art you are creating, your art is truth, your truth. The art you are creating is the reality you will know.

When you look out the window or step out of the door, see the signs the Universe is sending you, take the time to observe. The mocking bird on the butterfly bush was a sign to you, trust that message, know that all is well, beautiful and progressing just as it should.

When you step out into the world, see the people you meet along your way as a reflection of yourself, the guy moving slow in the fast lane, could be you on another day, be nice, be patient, you have all the time you need to get where you are going.

When you check your mail box, remember the excitment you had as a child, remember when you knew that special things appeared in that box and know it still happens. Good things come in the mail.

Trust your instincts, your intuition, tell yourself you know all you need to know, you have the answers to every question you will ever think to ask and then trust that the answers will come to you. Trust the search. Seek.

Smile and laugh, because positive emotions put your goals on the fast track. Forget ideas of balancing your emotions and your mind, the negative and the positive are opposing energies that lead to chaos and confusion. Fill yourself with light, the positive and all other things will fall into place.

Lose yourself in creation, even if it's just a doodle on a napkin, see yourself creating it and recognize that it never existed until you took the time and connected with the inspiration.

The Devil's In The Details
It's a phrase I've heard since I was a child and always figured it meant life was hard, if you aren't detail oriented, don't bother. We hear that we should be detail oriented and able to multi-task if we want to work in the public sector, it is a valuable asset that employers want and I wondered, why?

Many of the great thinkers have said we need times of solitude, a time away without deadlines, details or stress and we need it often. Some of these thinkers believe that to worry is to strangle the spirit, the connectedness with God, the All. Some even know that if you slow down and see in your mind exactly what you want, and give the details to the powers that are all around you, you will own paradise.

It's a radical idea, I suppose, but what if we just kicked the fear out of our brain? The fear of what others would think, the frustration of lack, the judgements of what punishment may be doled out for our actions, what if we banished those thoughts and then pondered, what do I want my world to be? Would I be happy? Would I do good things for people? Would I laugh more? Would I write, sing and paint? Would I dance, study and heal? We all use to want to be great until a lot of us learned that we couldn't. We can. What do you want?

If you want a perfect body, see yourself with a perfect body, not what is best for the body you have, the scars you have, see the perfect body. Don't limit yourself by what you think you see in mirror, know that if you want the perfect body, you will have it, it will arrive. Dream big. See the best your mind can conceive, not what you are told you can have, see what is said to be the unimaginable. It has been said that slaves only ask for freedom, they do not ask for the kingdom. Ask for the kingdom.

If you want to stand before huge crowds sharing your special gift, see it, know it and it will be yours. Don't worry how the people will arrive or consider how the people will learn your name, they will. The Universe sees the image in your mind, sees the beauty in that world you are creating and goodness is rushing to you to seal that imagery into reality. Trust that the Universe doesn't need to be managed and is perfectly capable of handling the details.

Creation and the Holy Grail

I think we are all searching for the Holy Grail in some way or another, what that represents for each person is different, but I believe all of us have similar needs and drives. For a lot of us spiritual folks, I think we feel as though we are on a quest, unsure of the destination, but thrilled by the urgings to study one more theory. We understand more than most beings how serious this journey is, how important and we see ourselves as warriors on the front line.

I can point to many different points in my life and call them spiritual waking times, as though I have spent a great deal of my life in a coma, waking briefly to inhale great deals of knowledge, information and thought, before drifting back into a twilight sleep to digest. And I'd ask myself why. Why can't I stay awake? I've heard people say that we are like water, we ebb and flow. Movement and repose. But what about the consciousness, the awareness of our connection, the knowledge that we really are the same?

I've spent a lot of time looking outside of myself thinking I could define myself, find myself through the thoughts and theories of other people, but I couldn't see the duality that is the Universe. The duality of all things being me and not me, all things being true and not true, the reality we see and the one we don't. And the power of creation that lies inside each one of us.

It is said that we will be known for our works. Is that the work you give to receive a paycheck or the work you give to the church or the kindness you give to other people? Is the million dollar houses that shine on top of hills in the richest neighborhoods? Is it that stack of half finished paintings gathering dust in a corner? The book, unfinished, laying on a shelf in the back of the closet? Is it winning all the Grammys you can carry? Is it having Oprah truly interested in what you have to say? Is it curing Aids in Africa? Is it feeding kids and paying college tuition? Yes and more.

Our work is the world we create around us, remember we have the power of creation, our thoughts are things and our duty is to create the most beautiful world we can imagine. If you hate politics, don't participate, it's not your world. If you hate the state of affairs you see on the news, turn off the news, that's not your world. See for yourself exactly how your world should be, see it, imagine it, feel it, it's not greedy to want everything you've ever wanted, it's the Universe, there is enough for everyone.

The Holy Grail we are all searching for is right inside us, it's the easiest thing in the world to just receive the goodness. The mystical answer we have been seeking is imagination and thought, we have created the mystery, because we are wonderful creators. Create your world, just as you may create a meal or a wonderful evening, create your reality, see yourself having everything, the All, see it everyday and you will hold the Grail in your hands.

What We Are Told

We are told is it hard, therefore it is hard. What if you had never heard that it was hard, no matter how incredible your dreams may seem, what if you never heard the word hard? What if you were told achieving your dreams was as possible as seeing them? Would you have believed? It's been said, "The simplest lessons are the hardest to learn." And I believed. It made sense with all the others pieces I had discovered, it fit right into the puzzle, as if was made to be, life is hard. But what if the most important lessons are simple and easy to find, by stating an intention?

What if achieving everything you ever wanted or imagined was yours upon seeing it, truly seeing it in your mind and feeling it in your heart, soul and intuition? Would you believe that? No? Because it's hard, right, you've got to toil, struggle, earn, fight, claw, suffer and pay your dues, then, if, and only if, God smiles down on you and it is in the infinite plan, you may have what you want, but don't ask for too much, don't be greedy. That is the illusion. Truth is all you have to do is see it, intend it, want it without guilt and it will be yours. See your life as you want it and it will be as you want it. Look around, you've already designed your life, you've created what you saw for yourself. If you see that you'll never have enough, then the world will reflect that right back to you, if you see yourself as beautiful and happy, the world will also reflect that right back to you. If you feel fear, you will see things to fear. It really is that simple.

Words have incredible power and I'm not talking about other people's words, I'm talking about the words we feed ourselves daily. Words like can't, lack, never, sick, hurt, bad, inferior, and all words that create fear inside. Words create thoughts and thoughts create reality. If you are telling yourself things are bad, then all you will see is bad. You see what you focus on. The power is not outside of us, as we've always been told, the power is completely in our own hands, our own mind, our own heart. The power to create or destroy is inside each one of us.

I have heard many wise folks say that this is the greatest time in the history of mankind to be alive and I have pondered that statement and wondered, are these people crazy, look around, everything is so screwed up. What I didn't realize, I was creating that screwed-up scenario with my words and my thoughts, with what I seeing. Why couldn't I believe that this is a glorious time to be alive? It's not that I haven't seen glorious and beautiful things, I do, all around me. But I knew the world was going to hell in a handbasket, it's hard to watch the news and not know that, right?

Then I thought, if thoughts create reality and this is my reality, what am I creating? Fear, lack, can't, dark, doubt and that straightened my backbone, I am not those things! I am good, happy, vibrant, loving, talented, fun, shiny and blessed! And then it dawned on me, it is a choice. I was choosing to see the bad, instead of the beauty and offering a world of excuses, all reasonable, rational excuses, "I need to be informed. It's important to know whats going on in the world." Sounds mature, right? But I was giving energy to something that was not my world, instead of giving energy to what is my world. I was fighting the negative, instead of relaxing into the positive.

So the truth is, it is easy. You can have everything you ever wanted, fame, money, health, contentedness, peace, anything and everything you ever wanted simply by seeing it and knowing it in your heart, it's not just possible, it already exists, just recieve it. And if you don't believe, because you know it's hard, just start with that one word and change it to easy. Every time you hear that word in your head or see it's creation in your thoughts, just change that one word to easy, try it for a week and you may be very surprised to see the change.
